The Virginia Approach contractor for the Woodrow Wilson Bridge replacement prepared a presentation for the city of Alexandria which provides some general and specific information. This was prepared in July 2003 and all dates are subject to change. A staging area has been set up in Jones Point Park and visible work will begin soon. Once there is progress to report, it will be available in the Project Scrapbook / Present section of the website.
During the non-Mandatory Showing on August 20, 2003, VDOT presented information about the U.S. Route 1 Interchange contract advertised on July 22, 2003. Bids are due on October 28, 2003.
