    <p>The I-295 Interchange work begins with ramp construction for the "s-curves" ramps that will re replaced. Clearing and grubbing of materials between the existing roadway (on the left) and the haul road on National Harbor property (on right) will make way for the new roadways.</p>

    <p>Installing a temporary barrier for shoulder work on the I-295 ramp, Maryland. Temporary lane closures were required for two days.</p>

    <p>As material is cleared, excess material is shredded prior to removal from the site in the vicinity of I-295 Interchange, Maryland.</p>

<p>Note: Office complex will house construction inspectors, project personnel, and an office for the Maryland Department of Labor and Licensing.</p>

    <p>Concrete batch plant at National Harbor construction staging area, Maryland in use for 2,300 yard tremie pour at pier V-2 outer-loop. The plant mixes 12-10 yard batches per hour.</p>

    <p>Tremie concrete pour at pier V-2, Potomac River. The large cone shaped hopper holds 120 cubic yards of concrete. It feeds this concrete to the orange creter-crane which places the concrete in the forms by conveyor.</p>

    <p>The completed V-3 outer-loop south pedestal. The current contract has fourteen of these pedestals which will be completed in Jones Point Park, Virginia.</p>

    <p>The rig is placing the tubes into the ground to a depth of about 40 feet. The tubes are prefabricated vertical drains or wick drains for the water to flow vertically out of the soft ground, Rosalie Island, Maryland.</p>
