The area below the deck, consists of the new outer loop Beltway (will be in the left tunnel and the express lanes are in the right tunnel ultimately). The recently paved road is the future outer loop local lanes. An interim operation will allow use of the two sets of lanes beginning in Summer 2005 so that work can proceed on the northern portion of the deck and on the existing Beltway. The concrete path coming up to the deck over will be the relocated Mt.
