<p><strong>Bascule Span</strong><br /> View of the opening of the inner loop drawbridge spans. The contractor is currently testing the spans prior to opening the bridge to traffic. The new bridges are 25 feet higher than the old Wilson Bridge, which will reduce the openings to 60-65 times a year. The old bridge opened 250 times a year.</p>
