<p><strong>Virginia Approach Spans</strong><br /> View looking east at the construction of the v-pier in Jones Point Park, Alexandria, Virginia. The contractor has placed temporary wires holding up the v-pier. Ultimately there will be a concrete tie-beam holding the two sections together.
