Bascule Spans
Dismantling the 285 foot tower-crane which was erected on-site in late 2003. This crane as well as the sister crane (100 yards to the east) were the major heavy lifting apparatus for the draw span contract. Both cranes as well as the two stiff-legged derrick cranes were a fixture on-site for the past three years (near the Virginia shoreline).
