Bascule Spans
View of the concrete conveyance system which takes concrete (from land) and brings the concrete out to a hopper and then a crane lifts the hopper up seventy feet and an additional system places the concrete for the drawbridge lift span. The draw span contract began in early 2003 and is scheduled to be completed in mid-2008.
