Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail to Close for Two Weeks

Bridge Inspections to Occur During Week Daytime Hours

Beginning on or about Monday, August 2 routine bridge inspections will require the full closure of the multi-use Woodrow Wilson Bridge trail between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. During this time all bike and pedestrian access is prohibited on the trail. Inspections are expected to last up to two weeks.

Variable Message Signs will alert incoming bikers and pedestrians of the closed path on both the Maryland and Virginia sides of the trail. Please use caution when traveling in this area. These inspections are part of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project.
