General Engineering Consultant

    Potomac Crossing Consultants:

Potomac Crossing Consultants LogoIn March 1998 the Project's Sponsoring Agencies engaged Potomac Crossing Consultants (PCC) to manage and coordinate the Project.Called the General Engineering Consultant (GEC), Potomac Crossing Consultants is a joint venture primarily comprised of three leading multidisciplinary civil engineering firms, Parsons Brinckerhoff; URS; and Rummel, Klepper and Kahl, LLP. The duties of the GEC include coordinating all design activities, ensuring environmental and other commitments made during the planning phase are carried out, through design and construction and conducting a proactive public information campaign, including staffing and maintaining the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Centers. As the project transitions into construction, the Team is responsible for construction oversight and management, environmental monitoring of construction activities and compliance with permit requirements, as well as continuing with public and media coordination.
